Let's talk karate movies.
If I mention karate, depending on your generation, you will immediately have an idea for Bruce Lee, Karate Kid, Jean-Claude Vandamme, Chuck Norris, for the most famous, with films seen and rewatched. 50 years separate us from the first karate films. The way of filming, the special effects and the scenarios evolve, but nevertheless lead to scenes that no longer surprise incredulous moviegoers. So cinema evolves again, and karate slides into scenes of armed fights and actors straight out of the weight room. The kimono disappeared in favor of military fatigues. The gilded and sumptuous palaces are replaced by glass-walled offices that are fit for demolition, and decorations that are as close as possible to the American environment. Add a dark and bluish atmosphere, like a dusty sky on September 11th, guns, stunts on black cruisers and here we are: A thousand miles away from karate.

That’s kind of the question that arises for our next film: Not really a sports film, let alone a fiction or a fight. Does that send a chill down the spine? This short film will be that of a practitioner, like no other. With a lot of composure and incredible discipline, you will experience karate from the inside. Training, dojo, kata, spirituality.
