At the heart of this vibrant cultural scene is Laurent Jornod, a passionate art restorer, whose meticulous work has earned the respect and admiration of local art lovers. Laurent Jornod has dedicated a large part of his life to the preservation and restoration of precious works of art. He developed an early passion for art and decided to dedicate his career to the preservation of artistic heritage.

Our mission: to create a website and photographs
Our challenge: Create a website, in order to raise awareness of the importance of the conservation of works of art and share the expertise of the restorer, all in images and texts. Laurent Jornod’s dedication to his profession and his deep respect for art make him a key figure in the world of artistic restoration in Geneva. His studio continues to be a beacon for local art lovers, seeking to bring treasures from the past back to life. Our mission was to make people discover this profession through images through a new website:
Photographs reflecting his devotion to art
Laurent Jornod’s meticulousness and dedication to each piece of art is palpable, reflecting his deep understanding of the cultural and historical significance of each work of art. Bringing out Laurent Jornod’s technical skills and his passion for art in our photographs was quite a thought: to best grasp this precision and this perfect restoration. The photographs had to perfectly reflect his devotion to his profession and demonstrate the different aspects of it: Diagnostic examination; Restoration; Documentation; Deontology.
A website displaying his profession and methods
Laurent Jornod doesn’t just repair damaged canvases; He also seeks to understand the story of each piece. His working methodology involves extensive research into the artist, the period and the style of the work, in order to guarantee an authentic and respectful restoration of the original. His mastery of traditional restoration techniques, combined with the judicious use of modern technologies, allows him to treat a variety of issues, such as substrate degradation, tears, discoloration, and time damage. Its customers can now discover these different aspects through its new website. For him, we have created a scalable site, with easy editing and which does not forget the essential: Facilitate customer contacts and access to his restoration workshops. We invite you to discover this new site and at the same time to take advantage of our photography and website creation services.
