Product photography makes sense when it is done well. When it exudes the soul of the product and the thought necessary for the sale. Photography on a white background for e-commerce leaves less room for imagination. To satisfy marketplaces, photographs are very often cropped and then arranged with a very neutral white background. A profession much more than an innate talent. Object photography is learned in the studio, a photo school, and is passed on from experienced photographers to the photographers of tomorrow. Photography of products and objects cannot be improvised. Every day, new experiences are added to the original training. Every day, item experience accumulates. The work of feeling, shadows and volumes, angles and superimpositions, vanishing lines, … Nothing is left to chance. How does the shooting of your product photography work? We use a table with several colored backgrounds or bench, backlit if necessary. Several types of lighting are available, between flash and continuous light, or special lights for particular effects. The product must be new, clean, free of dust or fingerprints. We handle with gloves and marry for the cleanest results.
