We inform users domiciled in an EU Member State that, in the view of the EU, the US - in particular because of the matters discussed in this section - does not have a sufficient level of data protection. Insofar as we have explained in this privacy policy that certain data recipients (e.g. Google) have their headquarters in the USA, we will ensure either through contractual arrangements with these companies or through their certification under the EU-US or Swiss-US Privacy Shield that your data enjoys a reasonable level of protection with our partners.

What technologies do we use and why are they used?

On our websites, cookies are used by us and third parties. A cookie is a short text file that is stored on your computer when you use one of our web pages. Usage profiles are not associated with your personal data. The IP address transmitted by your browser is also not associated with the user profiles.

Google Analytics

Our web pages use "Google Analytics", a web analysis service from Google Inc, (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). The use includes the operating mode "Universal Analytics". This allows, when the user is logged in to a Google service, to assign data, sessions and interactions between several devices to a user ID in the form of a pseudonym and thus to analyse the user's activities on all devices. Google Analytics uses cookies. The non-personal information generated by the cookie about your use of our website will generally be transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, the IP addresses are first anonymised using IP anonymisation. The anonymised IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. Google will use this information at our request in order to evaluate your use of our website, to compile reports on website activities and to provide us with services in connection with the use of the website and the use of the Internet.
You can find more information on the terms of use and data protection at You can prevent cookies from being saved by using the appropriate settings on your browser.

Matomo and Livezilla use cookies and other technologies to collect information about the behaviour of our users and their end devices, including the IP address of the device (only collected and stored in anonymous form during your use of the website), screen size, type of device, information about the browser used, location, preferred language for consulting our website. Matomo and Livezilla store this information on our behalf in a pseudonymous user profile.

Log files

During the use of Internet pages or mobile applications, Internet servers record impersonal usage data, so-called log files. Log files provide information about your IP address, the operating system used, the websites you visit, the type and version of browser, the time and the file requested. This information is necessary from a technical point of view in order to correctly provide you with the contents of the Internet pages and is mandatory when using the Internet. This anonymous data is stored separately from any personal data you may have provided and does not allow you to be identified.

We statistically analyse the non-personal usage data in order to optimise our website and the underlying technology, to identify trends and to improve and enhance our offers and products and adapt them to your needs as best as possible.

Elements of other websites, e.g. plug-ins or iframe

If you click on an element of a third party provider (for example, Connect with Facebook or Google), a connection will automatically be established with the servers of that third party provider. It is thus possible to transmit data about your visit to our website or mobile application to the third party provider. Depending on the circumstances, this data may be assigned to your user account with the third party provider (e.g. Facebook or Twitter account). If you have approved this function with the third party provider, the third party provider may also transmit personal data (surname, first name and e-mail address) from your user account to Audacieuse-Galerie SARL. You will find information on the collection and use of data by third party providers in the corresponding third party provider's data protection information.

Please note that deleting cookies in the browser may result in the deletion of an opt-out cookie. This means that if you wanted to activate an opt-out cookie and have deleted all cookies, the opt-out cookie must be activated again the next time you visit the website in question. Otherwise, you will be identified as a new user and will have to re-enter your data.
