Simon Gruber, from his early years, felt an intimate and deep connection with nature, a connection that he strove to capture through his photographic lens. Raised in the picturesque landscapes of the Austrian Mühlviertel, its surroundings have shaped its sensitive soul to the wonders of the natural world.

His passion for nature has not been confined to the borders of his native region, it has led him to explore the most remote places on the planet, during multiple trekking trips. Through these journeys, he sought to embrace and understand all facets of nature, whether wild and untamed or subtle and serene.

This perpetual quest to interpret his personal perception and the expression of it through his photographs prompted Simon to experiment with the camera at an early age. This exploration has been for him a path towards the discovery and affirmation of his own artistic identity, a tireless quest to capture the essence of what he sees and feels.
