Art Photography: Photography: Tatanka. Artist: Thierry Vezon.
Powerful, stubborn, the color of rock and bark, no one better than they express and embody the telluric powers of a land that has remained virgin. In 1902, there were only about fifty of them in the park; today there are more than four thousand bison.
Each copy belongs to a limited and numbered edition whose distribution is strictly controlled. A certificate of authenticity signed by the artist photographer accompanies each photograph.
We offer ‘Tatanka’ by Thierry Vezon, a discreet but assertive photograph, printed on Fine Art Hahnemühle paper, in a limited and numbered edition.
Some works are immediately appealing. Others gradually settle in the memory and continue to resonate long after they have been discovered. This photograph belongs to the second category. Its discreet but assured presence allows it to accompany spaces and looks in the long term.
This contemporary creation is offered in a limited and numbered edition. Each copy comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist photographer.
Yellowstone Park in Wyoming was established in 1872 at the initiative of President Ulysses Grant. It was the first nature reserve in history, and its creation accompanied that of the Indian reservations where the Americans claimed to concentrate and contain those they called the Red Indians. Having conquered and dominated a world, they wished to preserve, free from all attacks, from all progress, a few fragments of it. The park is famous for its canyons, for its geysers, for the richness of its waters, the depth of its forests. He is also responsible for saving bison, an emblematic animal of the Great Plains. In 1902, there were only about fifty of them in the park; today there are more than four thousand. Powerful, stubborn, the colour of rock and bark, no one better than he expresses and embodies the telluric powers of a land that has remained virgin.
