This image plunges us into the intimacy of the body, the bathroom evidently evokes an enclosed space which adds personal character to the photograph. The surface of the image, entirely covered by water, and the shapes which overflow the picture frame, allows us to easily imagine the scene, where the body, totally submerged brings us back to the metaphor of a difficult quest for identity where a great number of people felt drowned or suffocated. The water blurs our senses and renders the body unrecognisable, therefore
leaving us the only master of its identity.
