Photography: After the effort

Art photograph from the series "Arctic, a world on borrowed time", The dogs, slumped in the snow, almost as white as the snow, speak of departure and adventure. Of bitter devotion. Of endurance to pain... The empty sled speaks of solitude, or absence.  In the distance, the metallic water of a creek weighs with all its weight of mystery. But what fascinates above all, what retains and recalls the gaze, is this livid spot of an undecided sun, either coming into being or dying. It is the morning or the twilight of the world, and the red of the harness puts a sour and acid line in this blindness.
