The raben

The Jokulsarlon lagoon, There are lagoons in Iceland.  Caught in the ice, they could evoke some white paradise, if the presence of a bit of life a raven, in this case did not add a bit of rhythm and mystery to the scene, like a sort of serious accent. One is reminded of the ice floes that Caspard David Friedrich painted, and indeed of Edgard Allan Poe's Raven, so much so that this black beast drags after it the image, the memory, of death and anxiety.
