The airport

Art photograph from the series "Arctic, a world on borrowed time "Darkness and night rise from the depths of the slate-coloured ocean.  The slumped windsock adds a note of candour and blood to this landscape. The Inuit village of Tinteqilaaq has eighty souls. A modest heliport maintains, when the wind is not blowing too hard, a link with the outside world - if such a world exists, of course. Which one ends up doubting, after a few days of isolation.
